LG ships retro TV sets

If you were born in the 80’s or onwards you probably won’t even remember these kinds of TV sets, but the Korean electronics giant wants to kindle the nostalgia within the older generation. It just launched a 32-inch LCD set, the 32LN630R, which closely resembles the tube TV sets from the 1970’s with working channel and volume dials.
Don’t think that the TV doesn’t house modern technology, however. It has a 1080p IPS-based display that supports both USB-based storage and MHL video from mobile device. It is being sold in Korea for around US$750, but we are still waiting for word from LG as to their plans of releasing it to other countries.
